First Hotel Grand is located in the Unesco-listed city Falun. A place where every surface carries a part of the unique history of Falun's World Heritage. When it's time to explore Falun, our location in the center is convenient. To make your stay even more comfortable, we have parking right outside the hotel and the central station is only 500 meters away.
The hotel is only 650 meters from Falun Central Station.
If you arrive by train, walk North East and follow Promenaden towards Korsnäsvägen. Turn left on Korsnäsvägen. In the roundabout, take the first exit to Parkgatan, then continue on Trotzgatan. You will find the hotel on your left hand side.

Are you traveling by car to Falun? We offer parking both outdoors and indoors in a heated parking garage with a limited number of spaces.
Outdoor parking costs 110 SEK for 24 hours and can be purchased at the reception or via the FaluP app.
A parking space in our heated parking garage can be booked via Pair. Here you can book a space either with or without an electric car charging station.

The history of the hotel
From a bit modest start in 1862, the hotel was transformed into one of the country's finest rural hotels, with both radio and telephone, and was the first in Sweden to have running water in the rooms.
Do you wish to bring your dog on your hotel stay? Request an animal room where we have prepared with a dog bed and bowl for a comfortable stay. Contact the reception for booking and inquiries, as we have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms.
First Hotel Grand, including our restaurant, is totally cash-free. This means that we only accept payment by credit card.
The hotel has a room for luggage storage if needed. The luggage is stored at your own risk.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not have fully equipped handicapped-adapted rooms, but our Standard Double rooms are adapted for wheelchair users.
As part of our sustainability program, we clean your room every third day. If you would like it more often, please contact the Front Desk.

Our largest room is a real gem that can accommodate up to 200 people. The heritage-listed room is located on the second floor and offers a unique atmosphere where the walls are adorned with fantastic paintings by the famous local artist Jerk Werkmaster. For smaller gatherings, the room can easily be divided, offering great flexibility for different types of events.
Lustgåren is equipped with a projector, sound system, whiteboard and flipchart to meet your meeting needs. Adjoining the room is Silversalongen (the Silver Salon), perfect for use as a group room for workshops or smaller meetings.
