Tips on things to do in Falun

Welcome to the World Heritage Site Falun. The city's rich history and cultural heritage, combined with natural experiences and classic attractions, make Falun an interesting and exciting destination to explore. Here you will find well-known landmarks such as Falun Mine and the Carl Larsson House in Sundborn, old well-preserved neighborhoods in the Wooden Town of Falun, and beautiful cycling and hiking trails in the mining landscape surrounding the town.

A great way to experience Falun is through the water. Rent a SUP or kayak and paddle along the waterways to gain a new perspective on the World Heritage city. Also, make sure to enjoy a coffee break while you're here. Several cafés serve the World Heritage pastry, perfect for those who like to maximize their sensory experiences while traveling.

The hotel's central location, just a short five-minute walk from Falun Central Station, makes First Hotel Grand an ideal starting point for exploring Falun and its surroundings.
