7 Day hiking in Dalsland

Day 1: Welcome to Dalsland! Check-in at First Hotel Bengtsfors for two nights in a superior room. Feel free to take a short hike up to Majberget and enjoy the view of Bengtsfors and Lake Lelången. Up on Majberget are the Nordic region's only Strawmuseum - Halmens Hus, Gammelgården's open-air museum (with a unique collection of Dalsland buildings) and Kaffestugan.
Take advantage of the hotel's gym, sauna or outdoor pool (June-Sept) or just sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. A chilled bottle of bubble is waiting for you.  3-course dinner including wine package 

Day 2: Start the day with breakfast, put on your hiking boots, and enjoy the nature of Dalsland. Picnic lunch is available from the hotel. Here are some suggested hikes. Burnt Berg tour - about 10km or Lysekärn tour - about 6km.

Day 3: Breakfast and check-out. Bring today's picnic lunch. On the way to Håverud, a hike is recommended at Tissselskog's rock carvings. Then continue over Brudfjällsvägen. Check-in for two nights at Håveruds Hotell in a deluxe room.
Access to the relaxation area with jacuzzi, sauna, massage chairs (pre-booked directly with the hotel).

Day 4: After breakfast bring a picnic lunch and discover Håverud. Here is the heart of Dalslands Kanal with the famous aqueduct, there is also Dalslands center, Dalslands Kanalmuseum, Glashytta Håverud and Akvedukt shopen and Håveruds Rökeri and Brasseri.
Take the opportunity to walk part of the Pilgrimsleden starting from Upperud or a walk along the Upperudshöljen to Dalslands Konstmuseum and Bonapart café. (approx. 5km).

Day 5: After breakfast and a quiet morning, the journey continues to the next area. For those who wish, you can take a detour to a truly secret gem - Skärbo. There are hiking trails of varying length (1 - 7.5km).
Until the afternoon, check in at Baldersnäs Herrgård for 2 nights in a deluxe room. Baldersnäs Herrgård is located on a beautiful peninsula and is surrounded by the English park and  Lake Laxsjön.
Enjoy the sauna and maybe take a dip in the lake.
End the day with a five-course dinner including wine package 

Day 6: After breakfast we suggest a hike out to the outer part of the peninsula, which is called the End of the World - about 5 km. Bring your picnic and enjoy the scenery.
