Tips on things to do in Jönköping

Are you looking for things to do in Jönköping? Visit the Match Museum (Tändsticksmuseet) or the bathhouse Rosenlundsbadet, experience the cosy small town of Gränna, or hike the John Bauer trail.

    City Park

    City park (Stadsparken) is a 100 years old park with scenic view and beautiful, untouched nature which is located in western Jönköping. In the park you will find Jönköping municipality's largest playground, an open-air museum, a bird museum, a coffee shop, miniature golf and much more fun.

    Match Museum

    The Match museum in Jönköping is one of the three match museums in the world. It is located in a beautiful wooden building that once was the first match factory in Jönköping. Here you can learn about people and machines who built up the match industry and do a lot of fun activities if you travel with children.

    Experience Gränna

    Jönköping

    Gränna is a small town with beautiful scenery and charming wooden houses, gardens and cobblestone streets at Vätterns southeastern shore. Among its attractions you can find great hiking trails, historical sites like castle ruins and castles of the former superpower as well as Grenna Museum, with the famous Andrée expedition in the exhibition and candy producers that show you how the production goes, and you can taste fresh candies there.

    Rosenlundsbadet (Bath)

    Even you travel alone or with your family Rosenlundsbadet worth to visit. It is located in the Elmia area, close to the E4 and is Jönköping’s largest pool complex with an adventure pool, relaxation suite, outdoor pool, lane swimming, diving pool and gym.

    Hiking

    Jönköping is surrounded by hiking trails with breathtaking views and magnificent nature experiences. The famous one is The John Bauer trail which is named after the well-known Jönköping artist John Bauer. The trail is a beautiful path between Huskvarna and Gränna that passes through a wonderful and varied countryside. There are also another beautiful hiking trails like Holavedsleden and Pusta trails with magical nature.
