The Scandinavian Wildlife Park is located between Aarhus, Randers and Grenaa. Here you can experience polar bears, brown bears, wolves and a number of other animals indigenous to the Nordics as they roam their scenic habitats.

Djurs Sommerland has been voted the Nordic Region’s Best Amusement Park for four years in a row. Located in the heart of Djursland, you will find more than 60 activities for all ages.

Grenaa Sports Centre (Grenaa Idrætscenter) is located within walking distance of Kysthotellet. Enjoy the beautiful trip through the park either on foot or by bike and you’ll be there after a couple of kilometres. Here there are bathing facilities for all ages and suitable for all needs. In the large aqua centre, there is a splash pool for recreational swimming, a children’s pool, a pool with warm water and a water slide.

If you prefer relaxation and tranquillity, there are plenty of opportunities in the Sauna Section, where there is a sauna, steam bath, cold water tub and infrared sauna. Admission tickets for the Sauna Section also grants access to the swimming pool and hot water pool. You can also purchase various treatments, including massage and reflexology treatments.

Tivoli Friheden in Aarhus is a popular amusement park located in the beautiful Marselisborg Forest within walking distance of the city centre. It is possible to take the light rail from Grenaa to Aarhus.

The Kattegatcentret is located at Grenaa harbour, all the way to the Kattegat. Opened in 1993, the center has 200 wonderful, brightly coloured species of marine animals – from the smallest goblet to the large sand tiger shark. Every day they feed and train the sharks in the tropical shark tank.
