The North Sea Oceanarium

One of Northern Europe’s largest aquariums, the North Sea Oceanarium, is a popular destination in Hirtshals and suitable for all ages. Here you can discover what is hidden below the waves in the depths of the North Sea. In the aquarium, which holds 4.5 million litres of water, there are over 7,500 fish, whales, seals and other sea creatures and mammals.

The fun doesn’t end here. Outside the oceanarium, there are close to 5,000 square metres of playgrounds with climbing frames, slides and other exciting activities.
