Hotel with seaview in Visby, Gotland

First Hotel Kokoloko opened its doors for the first time in June 2019, and is located in Visby on the holiday island of Gotland. The hotel has a unique design featuring swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, an outdoor bar and parking outside the entrance. Several of the rooms are equipped with kitchens and can accommodate up to seven people.

The hotel is located 800 metres from the ferry terminal and within a few minutes’ walk of central Visby. From the hotel, you can easily reach restaurant, beaches, the congress center Wisby Strand Congress & Events, the amusement and waterpark Kneippbyn and one of Sweden’s finest golf courses, at Visby Golf Club.

    Directions & Parking

    The hotel is conveniently located along one of the main roads on Gotland, road 140 / Söderväg, south of Visby. The ferry terminal is just three minutes away by car, and it takes about ten minutes to the airport.

    We have 80 parking spaces, including 10 for electric cars, 5 for motorcycles, and 2 for disabled parking.

    New Housekeeping Routines

    As we care for the environment and are Green Key certified, cleaning occurs every 3rd day. This includes not only general cleaning but also the replacement of bed linens, towels, toilet paper, coffee, and disposal of trash. If your stay is for 4 nights, there will be no change of bed linens, but other cleaning as mentioned above will be provided. If you wish to have additional cleaning/bed linen replacement, please book this at the reception by 4:00 PM the day before.

    First Hotel Kokoloko, including the reception bar, is totally cash-free. This means that we only accept payment by credit card.

    We know that your dog is your best friend and an important part of your family. At First Hotel Kokoloko we welcome both you and your best friend upon request - an extra fee of SEK 300 will apply per night.

    The hotel offers luggage storage if required. During the low season when we close at 5:00 p.m, please ensure you collect your luggage before the reception closes.

    We offer rooms adapted for guests with reduced mobility. The rooms have recessed sinks, toilets with armrests, shower curtains, and no thresholds. Each room has a ramp, and a shower chair can be ordered. Please note that some areas may still pose challenges, such as the elevator not reaching the roof terrace.

Conference and meeting in Visby near the ferry terminal

Are you planning to arrange a conference or a meeting in Visby? First Hotel Kokoloko offers two different conference options for up to 85 people, only 800 meters from the ferry terminal and close to Visby's city center. From Visby Airport it takes about 10 minutes by car.

    In our airy conference facility Orangeriet (The Orangery), you will enjoy an inspiring environment with scenic views. The room, which has large windows with natural daylight, seats up to 85 people in auditorium seating. Orangeriet is perfect for conferences, events and private funtions.

    You alse enjoy the opportunity to package the conference with breakfast, coffee, dinners and overnight stays.

Food & Drink at the hotel´s Lobby Bar

When you stay with us, you won't have to go hungry. Enjoy food and drinks by our wonderful pool, on the rooftop terrace, or in the restaurant. At the hotel, refreshments can be ordered from our Bistro Menu in the Lobby Bar. Breakfast is always included when you stay with us.

If you want to embark on a culinary journey of discovery during your stay, then Visby and the rest of Gotland have many good restaurants to offer. Ask a member of staff – we will gladly advise you.

Start your day in the best possible way. Breakfast is included in the room rate when you stay at First Hotel Kokoloko. We also serve vegetarian food. Contact the reception if you need specially adapted meals.

Our delicious breakfast buffet is open:

  • Saturday - Sunday: 06:00-10:00

Lunch

Lunch is served weekdays. Enjoy a the dish of the day, the salad of the week or our vegetarian option.

You can can also order food for takeaway instead of eating here.

FLOYD'S Food Experience

Our restaurant, Floyd's Food Experience, offers food from every corner of the world. We serve lunch from Monday to Friday, 11:30-14:00, and dinner from Friday to Saturday. The hotel also offers dinner service for larger groups upon request.

During the summer, the restaurant is open daily for both lunch and dinner.

Lobby Bar

Our lobby bar is a natural meeting place for both hotel guests and local visitors.

Here people meet to hang out and eat and drink well. The lobby bar is open all year round, but during the summers we move the business to the pool bar. The lobby bar menu is available at the reception desk.

Sauna & Outdoor Gym

Remember to bring your workout clothes with you when visiting us. You can workout at our outdoor gym.

Our outdoor gym is free for everyone to use. We also have a sauna, which also is free for overnight hotel guests.
