Umeå Sörfors Golf Club is a 15-minute drive west of Umeå and a popular destination among guests at First Hotel Dragonen. The course is an open parkland layout set in a beautiful rural landscape, designed by Bengt Lorichs – known for several acclaimed courses across Sweden.
Suitable for both bogey golfers and low handicappers, the course offers a fun and challenging experience for all players. The 18-hole course is named after Västerbotten’s provincial bird, the Eurasian curlew, which can often be spotted from May.
Excellent practice areas are available for warming up, and the club’s experienced coaches are happy to help refine your technique – whether you’re a beginner or a pro.
