For a truly memorable experience, try the Dal–Västra Värmlands Järnväg rail bike adventure. Hop on a pedal-powered rail bike and set off through Bengtsfors’ beautiful and varied nature — passing untouched forests, glittering lakes, and endless scenic views. It’s a unique and active way to experience Dalsland’s landscape.

The full route stretches 50 km and can even be combined with canoeing for a full-day outdoor adventure. You can also take the railbus over the famous aqueduct in Håverud, Dalsland’s most visited tourist attraction — an unforgettable sight.
