31 December 2026: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Look forward to an evening of gastronomy, celebration, and indulgence as we at Grand Hotel celebrate the final night of the year in elegant surroundings, in the heart of Odense.
We invite you to a festive evening with everything a New Year’s Eve should include: Entrance on the red carpet, champagne, a five-course gala dinner with wine pairing, DJ and dancing, all set within the atmospheric and historic surroundings dating back to 1897.
Programme for the evening:
5:30 PM – Arrival & welcome
We welcome you with a glass of champagne and delicate canapés.
6:00 PM – The King’s New Year Address
His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark’s New Year address will be broadcast in the Banquet Hall.
6:30 PM – Five-course gala menu
Enjoy an exclusive New Year’s menu that combines the traditions of the season with classic culinary craftsmanship and premium ingredients. The wine menu consists of five specially selected glasses, carefully paired with the dishes.
10:00 PM – Dancing & cocktail bar in the Glass Hall
After dinner, we open for dancing and celebration in our beautiful Banquet Hall. Our DJ will play both new and well-known hits all the way until 2:00 AM.
12:00 AM – New Year’s toast and fireworks
We will serve the traditional Danish kransekage and a glass of demi-sec champagne as we raise a toast together to welcome the New Year.
1:00 AM – Late-night snack
The traditional late-night snack will be served in the adjoining salon.
2:00 AM – Thank you for this evening
Afterwards, you may choose to retire to your room – or continue the celebrations out in the city.
