Frognerbadet is a popular open-air pool with two 50-metre pools, a splash pool, a waterslide and a diving tower. Frognerbadet is located at the end of Frognerparken, and since its opening in 1956, the facility has held a special significance among the city’s citizens.
If you prefer a slightly warmer environment, we can recommend trying the new sauna trend that has taken Oslo by storm. Along the harbour promenade from Sørenga to Aker Brygge, you will find several opportunities to combine a trip to the sauna with a refreshing swim in the fjord.
Sørenga Sauna Fleet Mågen floats right next to the Opera House. Otherwise there is SALT (sauna and cultural experiences located right by Oslo Central Station), and Green Boats (electric sauna luxury at Aker Brygge), where you can relax and enjoy the heat of the sauna and go for a dip in the fjord.
