A ten-minute boat ride from City Hall (Rådhuskaia), takes you to wonderful beaches on the islands of the beautiful Oslofjord. If you don’t have time for a boat trip, you can take a cool dip at Sørenga, where you will find a great swimming area with a family-friendly sandy beach, diving board, bathing jetty, benches, a grassy plain – everything you need for a great summer’s day by the sea. Here you can also rent a kayak and SUP and discover Oslo from the waterfront.
Tjuvholmen Sea Bath is located at the far end of Tjuvholmen, south of Aker pier – right next to the new Astrup Fearnley Museum. Here you will find a beautiful park with sculptures and a lawn. There is also a small beach for toddlers as well as a bathing jetty.
