Modern Hotel in Central Falun

First Hotel Grand is located in central Falun, near shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. If you arrive in Falun by train or bus there is just a five-minute walk from the central station to the hotel. Most of the guestrooms were renovated in 2015 and designed with inspiration from Falun's cultural heritage. The hotel also offers conference facilities, parking and a gym which is free for staying guests.

Nearby attractions are the UNESCO world heritage listed Falun Mine, the Carl Larsson Museum and Dalarna Museum. For those who fancy outdoor life, the Lugnet Ski Center is also easily accessible. In addition, the ski resorts of Romme Alpin and Bjurås Skicenter are located half an hour’s drive from central Falun.

    Directions

    The hotel is only 650 meters from Falun Central Station.

    If you arrive by train, walk North East and follow Promenaden towards Korsnäsvägen. Turn left on Korsnäsvägen. In the roundabout, take the first exit to Parkgatan, then continue on Trotzgatan. You will find the hotel on your left hand side.

    Are you travelling by car to Falun? At the hotel, we offer you parking both outside, or indoors in our parking garage. Please note that parking is subject to availability.

    The parking tickets for both outside parking and the garage costs SEK 95 for 24 hours.
