Central hotel in the heart of Aalborg

KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg – First Partner Collection is centrally located in the heart of Aalborg in scenic North Jutland. We offer 110 modern and comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast buffet, conference facilities and not least a central location in the heart of Aalborg. A perfect downtown option for those seeking to experience all that Aalborg has to offer. Utzon Center is located 850 metres from the hotel, while the concert hall, Musikkens Hus, and the city’s cultural centre, Nordkraft, are just a two-minute walk away. At the waterfront, you will also find Aalborg Harbour Bath, where during summer days you can enjoy the sun and take a refreshing dip.

Along the charming pedestrian streets of Bispensgade and Algade, you will find a wide range of stores with Danish brands and not least many enjoyable dining options.     Find your way

    The hotel is located just 6.8 km from Aalborg Airport via route 55. You can also reach the hotel using the airport shuttle train. The journey by rail takes 24 minutes. The hotel is located just 600 metres from Karolinelund Station.

    Parking

    We offer 32 outdoor parking spaces, which are located right outside the main entrance. There is also a parking garage with 10 parking lots as well as a dedicated space for disabled parking. The parking fee for the outdoor carpark is DKK 13 per hour, which we recommend for short-term parking. The fee for staying guests using the outdoor carpark is DKK 75 per day, which can be paid at the reception upon arrival. Parking in the parking garage costs DKK 100 per day.

    Chargers for electric cars are available, too. In addition to the hotel carpark, there is also a public carpark nearby, subject to parking fees between 8:00 and 19:00.

    Check-in & Check-out

    Check-in between 14.00
    Check-out at 11.00

    If your room is ready before 14:00, you will be permitted to access it earlier. Please contact the reception regarding late check-out after 11:00. A fee of DKK 100 is added per hour for a maximum of 2 hours for late check-out. For baggage storage, please contact at the reception.

    Pets are welcome

    Naturally, pets are welcome at the hotel subject to a small added fee of DKK 150.

    KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg was originally founded in 1905 as a home for seamen but is today a modern, charming and well-managed tourist hotel where our regular guests include holidaymakers, artists and businesspeople.

We offer modern and professional facilities for conferences and meetings. Our five new meeting rooms seat up to 120 participants and are equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. We are experts in customising events to needs and requirements. Our event catering will accommodate your requests and includes breakfast, lunch, coffee and cakes, snacks and mineral water.

KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg - First Partner Collection can easily be reached by car since we are located just five minutes from the motorway. There are also ample parking options right outside the door. Our central location in Aalborg also lets you benefit from taking waterfront walks or enjoying a delicious dinner in the city.

    10 people

    Broen is a bright function room, perfect for smaller meetings for up to 10 attendees. The venue is furnished with a round wooden table, creating a pleasant sense of warmth. Other amenities include modern audio-visual equipment.

    Nordvest

    16 people

    Nordvest is a delightful event room seating up to 16 people. The flexible room can be subdivided into two smaller rooms, Nord and Vest. Each room can accommodate up to 8 people.

    Øst

    60 people

    Øst is our second-largest event room seating up to 60 participants at long tables or 50 people when opting for a U-shaped layout.

    Syd

    Our south-facing meeting facility seats up to 40 guests at long tables or 60 participants in an auditorium layout. For larger meetings, seminars or conferences, the facility can be combined with the Øst room.

    Sydøst

    100 people

    Our flexible conference facilities can be adapted in size. For larger meetings and events, the two largest rooms, Syd and Øst, can be combined with the Sydøst room. These combined meeting facilities seat up to 100 participants at long tables or up to 120 people when opting for an auditorium layout.
