How to earn points
Here you can read the terms & conditions regarding how to earn points in the First Member program.
2.1 One bonus point is earned for each Norwegian, Swedish or Danish currency unit (krone) spent at First Hotels or in restaurants operated by First Hotels. (1 NOK/SEK/DKK = 1 POINT). You earn 750 points per night at First Hotel Petit Palace in Spain and First Hotel Kopavogur on Iceland.
2.2 Members must submit their membership numbers when booking a stay and at check-in.
2.3 Bonus points are only granted when stays are made by members personally. No bonus points are granted when paying for hotel accommodation for other people.
2.4 Bonus points are only granted to one person per room.
2.5 Bonus points and stays will be registered as of the day the member has signed up for membership.
2.6 Retro-registering of hotel stays made before signing up for membership is not possible.
2.7 Bonus points and bonus stays are personal and cannot under any circumstance be transferred, inherited or be redeemed for cash.
2.8 Bonus points are not given for bonus stays. Bonus points are given for additional consumption during a stay.
2.9 Bonus points are not granted for products or services that have not been produced or supplied by the hotel or from which the hotel does not benefit financially, such as external expenses, parking, laundry, spa or casino entertainment.
2.10 With seminars and conferences, bonus points are not granted for the hire of meeting facilities or for the purchase of day packages. Bonus points are granted for accommodation separately.
2.11 Bonus points automatically expire after three years. You can access your bonus point status at any time on your personal membership page. When redeeming points the oldest points are redeemed first.
2.12 Retro-registering of bonus points can be made on "Your page", by email or telephone call. The deadline for retroregistering is six months.
2.13 Stays at regular rates, campaign prices (on our own web site) and corporate rates are eligible for bonus points. Bonus points are not granted for complimentary stays, bonus stays, stays booked through OTAs / third party websites (such as hotels.com, booking.com), Tour Operators, in connection with contracted longterm stays (over 20 nights) or to travelers enjoying crew rates, sponsored rates or other special agreement rates. All added personal consumption paid for directly to the hotel is rewarded with bonus points.
2.14 Bonus points are registered on your First Member bonus point account three days after check-out and cannot redeemed before this time.
2.15 Special terms apply to bonus points in relation to promotional campaigns and may vary from campaign to campaign.
2.16 Bonus points and discounts are granted in restaurants when ordering either food or food and beverages in combination. Bonus points or discounts do not apply to the purchase of alcholic beverages when ordered separately.
2.17 To achieve bonus points and discounts when available at our restaurants you must submit your membership number before the bill is settled. Bonus points for such purchases cannot be retro-registered.
2.18 A maximum of 5000 bonus points can be earned per visit in a bar or restaurant and only for groups of up to five people.
2.19 Only one membership card can be used per party.
2.20 Bonus points can only be earned at hospitality establishments and restaurants operated by First Hotels.
