First Hotel Breiseth, one of Lillehammer’s oldest hotels, is located within easy walking distance of the pedestrianised city centre. The hotel is associated with the early 20th-century colony of artists known as the Lillehammer Painters, whose works adorn the hotel. The comfortable rooms exude a classical old-world charm. Conference facilities host up to 80 participants. Apart from winter sports, Lillehammer is also known for its open-air heritage museum.
