Beyer’en is a charming restaurant and bar situated on the ground floor. It offers a variety of medium priced courses, inspired by the Scandinavian cuisine. One of our most loved dishes is the Persetorsk which is a Bergen classic - whilst the Lamb Shank is a must try as well.

The city of Bergen has always been impacted by other nationalities, and was the first Norwegian city to be introduced to the exiting, oriental spices, wines and liquors. The city was, and still is, a market town for local farmers.

Since the city has a natural harbour, there has always been a strong fishing industry in Bergen. The wealth of the city can be traced back to when the ‘klippfisk’ and the ‘tørrfisk’ where transported from the North of Norway to Bergen by ship, and from Bergen exported to all over the world.
